  Here is my Rainbow Card I created using the Flourishes stamp set!

    

Supplies include:  Flourishes Country Charms Labels and Country Charms Borders  stamp sets; Spellbinders S4-322 Spellbinders Grommet Tags and LF-161 Grand Labels One; Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Marmalade, Candy Apple Red, Tuscan Sun, Harvest Orange, Forest Green, Water Slide, Sun Sisters and Puerto Rico; 3D White Foam Squares by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L; White Cardstock by WorldWin Papers; StazOn Ink; Bits of Bling by Creative Impressions; Clearsnap Fluid Chalk Ink. 

I cut 1 x 12" strips of white cardstock.  I misted each strip with a color of the rainbow.  I mixed Candy Apple Red and Marmalade to get the perfect shade of red.  I also mixed Tuscan Sun and Harvest Orange to get the lovely shade of orange.

I used the scalloped floral border stamp from Flourishes Country Charms Borders  set to stamp a border onto each misted strip.  I fussy-cut them out.  I adhered each border to a piece of white cardstock, then sewed each strip with kraft colored thread and my sewing machine.

I cut/embossed this using LF-161 Grand Labels One to create a shaped card.

 
 

 I used the Country Charms Labels stamp set with the S4-322 Spellbinders Grommet Tags to create the tag.  I adhered bling to each side and adhered it to the card using 3D White Foam Squares.

Mother's Day Scrapbook Layout

My assignment this week for the Spellbinders Blog was to create a Mother's Day Layout.  So, I decided to ask my sweet hubby to take a photo of the me and my darling girls.

He did good didn't he?  I cropped it a bit, and make it black and white with a faded border around the edge, but he captured us with smiles, froggie pajama's and all.  I love it.  So, it became my inspiration for the layout.

I actually die cut my photograph, which give its a nice embossed edge.  I also used my sewing machine to stitch around the layout and the background strip.  I like how the stitching and buttons compliment each other.

Butterfly Card

I created this Fanciful Flight Butterfly Card for the Spellbinders Blog!

It's one of my favorite cards so far!  (I know you know how much time cards take me compared to other creations ;)  This one just fell together.  The Flourishes stamp set had the perfect quote to use with the Fanciful Flight Butterfly die cut.  I also used Fancy Pants patterned paper and Zip Dry Glue.  I'm really loving that stuff!

I'm so excited to be part of the Spellbinders Bunny Hop!  I have such a good time participating in blog hops, seeing all the wonderful creations, getting inspired and saying to myself - wow what a cool way to use that die template!

I have created a Counting Book for a toddler using S4-262 Nested Ducks and S5-052 Creative Page Tabs.

The Counting Book is an accordion folded mini album that is held together

with a ribbon which ties in a bow in the back.  

It is created with October Afternoon Schoolhouse paper line!  I love all the fun colors and graphics.

I used LF-168 Grand Large Labels to create a total of 10 panels. Five panels are shown on each side.

Each panel has a pocket sewn to it with a stamped Nested Duck die cut adhered to the pocket.

October Afternoon counting cards have been colored with Copic Sketch Markers.

A Creative Page Tab die cut is adhered to the card making it easy for little hands to pull them out!

Flourishes Blog Hop! (Birthday Pennants and Strips and Stripes)

So happy to be part of the Flourishes Blog Hop today!  They have created the cutest set of Birthday Pennants and Strips and Stripes stamp sets that go perfectly with Spellbinders S5-028 Nested Pennants and S5-029 Lacey Pennants!

The fun Birthday Pennants set just screams celebration!  It offers 6 different pennants and flags all designed to coordinate perfectly with S5-029 Lacey Pennants and S5-028 Nested Pennants. There are also 9 sentiments and 8 accents in the set that you can use to deck out your pennant shapes in fun and different ways!

Want a little more to coordinate with your cards? How about our new Strips and Stripes background set? This set offers three strips to use together as one background or separate as three different strips that coordinate with our Birthday Pennants set! Since the set was just released last night, we can show you it in its entirety now!

 

 

These stamp sets were so much fun to work with.  I loved creating flags and pennants.  I colored in the mini flowers with a Copic AtYou Spica pen.  I adhered the flags and pennants to toothpicks, pierced a small hole for each in the lid with my Memory Makers Piercing tool and inserted them into the lid.

I stamped along the top edge of the lip of the lid using the dotted straight stamp.  I cut and embossed 15 of the S5-028 Nested Pennants, stamped with Versa Mark and sprinkled on Embossing Powder by Sparkle and Sprinkle, then heat set.  I adhered 5 of the flags to each side of my triangular shaped box.

I lined the box with white tissue paper and filled it with Hershey's Hugs.  Yumo!!

I also stamped the floral striped pattern on each side of the box using a brown ink.  I used My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Paper and Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry to cover the entire box.
