Is there anything better than true friendship? I seem to make cards for special occasions....but sometimes it's nice just to send a friendship card. My Mind's Eye has really gorgeous papers, and what I really love about them is how thick and strong they are. The paper is heavy weight, durable and just plain gorgeous. They work perfectly for making cards.
I also used Spellbinders (TM) die templates: S3-107 Decorative Photo Corners and S4-142 Long Classic Rectangles LG. The Decorative photo corners work perfectly as accents in corners, but I also used them to create the 3 square window openings in the front of the card, and then again as the 3 decorative accents that peak through. I stenciled the dies with Clearsnap Fluid Chalk Ink to really make them pop.
I also used Tim Holtz Christmas Classic unmounted rubber stamp by Stampers Anonymous. Can you see it? It's the script handwriting showing under the white ribbon. You'd never know it was a Christmas stamp set would you? I love it when you can use tools - like rubber stamps - in different and unique ways.
