I really love to make altered pieces. I thought I'd share one of my favorite's with you today. It's my Altered Artist Frame.

Happy Valentine's Day! I think this is one of my favorite layouts. So often I'm shooting pictures of my girls', and I forget that I need to focus on Aaron and I sometimes too.
The girls had a sleepover at the dance studio on Friday night, so we had a Valentine's Date at the Aspen House Restaurant in Rawlins, WY. It was a quiet romantic dinner for two. Life gets so busy sometimes and I really appreciate time we can spend just the two of us.
I love the new Spellbinders (TM) S4-240 Lotus Borderabilities® Petites die template. It's one of my favorites.
I also used: S4-248 Labels Thirteen and S4-269 Lotus Pendants by Spellbinders (TM); Crate Paper, Light Orange, Pink, Off-White Lillian Collection Patterned Paper, Brown Lillian Collection Swirls and Flowers Rub-On's, Velvet and Colored Bling Lillian Collection Brads; Clearsnap, French Blue Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink; Copic, and Black Multiliner Pen.
I created this layout of our new puppy Zuzu. I can hardly believe how much bigger she is already!

I like to think that Valentine's Day isn't just for couples, but for kids, puppies and everyone we love.

I grew up in a family that loved music. We were always listening to music, dancing in the living room and singing at the top of our lungs.
I'm lucky enough to have a husband who loves music as much as I do. On one of our first dates, he played his guitar for me....I think I fell in love with him right then and there. Now he has an acoustic guitar, resonator guitar and a mandolin. Our girls have their own keyboard and their own guitar. I keep thinking one of these days, I'll get up the nerve to take voice lessons. (he he)
Arianna was lying on the couch one day next to the mandolin and just couldn't help plucking the strings. I don't even think she knew she was doing it. The instrument just called to her. I couldn't help but turn this picture into a layout.
Journaling reads: "Arianna your love of music is never ending. You just can't help singing and plucking strings."
