I started with a manilla tag, stamped and heat embossed the Bee stamps on the tag. Then I misted with Tattered Angels Chalkboard Glimmer mist and wiped off the excess to allow the heat embossed Bees to show through. They almost work like a resist. I love the effect.
I stamped the QuietFire Design on white cardstock and aligned the Spellbinders Labels and Tags die template around the quote, then cut/embossed. I also used Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms, misted with Chalkboard Glimmer Mist and painted with Chandelier Glimmer Glam. I added tulle, bling, buttons, a stick pin, twine, Say It With Pearls by Want2Scrap and more Glimmer Glam.
This was a really fun project. I love how elegant QuietFire Design stamps are. I hope you'll stop by their blog and take a look at all their gorgeous creations.
Each day designers will be posting brand new artwork they have created using the new rubber stamps. Visit each of their blogs on the day of their featured project, post a comment on their Blog Hop post and you will be eligible to win a grab bag of Quietfire Design rubber stamps valued at $50! Each Designer will randomly choose a winner from the comments on their own Blog Hop post, so make sure you’ve commented by midnight Friday, May 18th. Tell your friends!

Blending Tattered Angels misting products is one of my favorite techniques. It's so basic, yet so affective. I love to mist with one color and lightly mist another color along the edge of the first color. They bleed and blend so beautifully.
Plain Jane is the focus and layered Plain Jane Simply Sheer Teal, Plain Jane Simply Sheer Shade, Plain Jane Simply Sheer Taupe, Plain Jane Simply Sheer Yellow, Plain Jane Simply Sheer Red, Plain Jane Simply Sheer Light Blue, Baseboard Gravel. I painted the heart with Stained Glass in Green.
Canvas Corp has some incredible new papers that are absolutely perfect for Tattered Angels paint products. I really love the kraft and black series. I started making 2 cards, then kept creating to make a set of 4 cards.
For these 2 cards I used: Plain Jane Simply Sheer in Yellow, Simply Sheer in Teal and Light Blue.
For my 3rd and final project as a JustRite Guest Designer, I used the Harlequin Script Background Stamp. It is divine! I love the look of using embossing powder and heat embossing on black paper.
Here is a sneak peek my new Butterfly Card.

I'm so honored to work with Becky Fleck Page Maps. I must confess, I have never used a sketch to create a project. I wasn't sure about the process at first. But, I also found that I really enjoyed the process!
Here is the sketch that Becky created. Isn't it lovely?!
Here is my take on the sketch.
I found that using a sketch really helps take out a lot of the design time. I literally spend hours designing and re-arranging elements sometimes. So, if you want to create something in a short amount of time, and just enjoy the finished product...you really should try sketches. Thanks for the opportunity Becky!

I’m so excited and beyond words for the opportunity to be on the Tattered Angels Design Team for another year! They have recently been acquired by Canvas Corp. - another fabulous company, and I am really looking forward to seeing all the great creative things that come out of this!
I have three new projects for you today, that I hope you enjoy.
Here is a close up of the dimensional layers and the curled leaves. I also created a pattern by using a Pink Paislee Mistables Screen with white acrylic paint. Lots of fun!!
I really enjoyed creating this Tattered Angels Art Tag!
I stacked Tattered Angels Tags to create a Valentine Mini Album. I misted them all in shades of purples, pinks, and deep reds, placed the Tattered Angels “X” and “O” embossed postage chips on the cover.
The large flower is created with Spellbinders die templates, as well as the inside flowers. Chandelier Glimmer Glamand Oil Slick Glimmer Glaze add so much detail to the postage stamp embossed chips. I love to create mini albums where colors and embellishments hang out over the edges. It makes you want to peek inside.
Thanks for taking a look at my projects! I hope you’ve found some inspiration.
I am such a lucky girl, and was able to work in the Spellbinders Paper Arts Booth for CHA, and had artwork in the Tattered Angels Booth and Canvas Corp Booth! Sometimes it's all like a dream that I never want to wake up from! I have some very exciting news that I'm hoping I can share soon. I can't wait to tell you.
Hi Friends! I hope you've been enjoying all the CHA photo's I have posted on my Facebook and Twitter accounts. It was a whirlwind trip and I enjoyed every single second of it. I promise to post some pictures here as well in the next few days.
Today I wanted to share with you my Wings of Hope Card Box.
This is how the wooden card box started. Isn't it fabulous?!
Project Instructions:
I began by misting and painting my wooden box. This box measures approximately 6x5x5" and is a natural unprimed wood. It soaks up the mist beautifully and you can still see the wood grain. I set the box aside to dry.
I embossed 4 pieces of the craft foil with my favorite M-bossibilities pattern, and then trimmed each piece to fit the 4 side panels of the wooden box, leaving about a 1/4" around each panel.
The Wings of Hope die template set was used to cut/emboss white cardstock. Then, I used the die templates as a stencil and applied fluid chalk ink to the embossed areas.
I used word patterned paper that featured black type with a white background to trim the bottom sides of the box. I misted the paper and trimmed strips to about 1/4" x 12" and adhered them around the box. I misted more paper and cut/embossed three of the Butterfly Circles and adhered one to the front three sides of the box.
Classic Hearts were cut/embossed from white cardstock and painted with a stained glass paint and allowed to dry.
A Butterfly was adhered to the center of each circle and the wings were folded up just slightly for a 3 dimensional look.
I alternated the Butterflies for a distinctive visual look. The stenciling on the embossed areas really add a nice contrast.
I layered strips of the misted paper and the remaining die templates onto the lid of the box. I folded up the angel wings slightly.
That's all there is to creating a one of a kind card box. To learn more about Spellbinders and Wings of Hope die templates read the article.
I hope I have inspired you to get out there and volunteer or give back to your community and make a difference. I promise you, it will be an amazing and fulfilling experience! Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I appreciate you taking the time!
I'm so excited to start my second year as a design team member with Tattered Angels! You should have seen my art room recently. It's covered in bottles of glimmer mist, glimmer glam and glimmer glaze. Sheer Heaven I tell you!
On of my 1st new projects of the year is..... this ART Tag.
Brand New Jewel Goddess die template by Julianna Hudgins, for Spellbinders Paper Arts, was used to create the goddess shape. I love how the Glimmer Mist colors blend and shimmer on her shape.
