"Simoni Boo Book" - Altred Mini Album
I created a "Simoni Boo Book" for Halloween to showcase all the waysI love to use JustRite Font Stamps!
I also used Spellbinders Die Templates, The Robin's Nest patterned paper, a background stamp by Tim Holtz from Stampers Anonymous, and Gimmer Mist by Tattered Angels.
Font Technique: Cover - I used the Limited Edition "Witch Way to the Treats" JustRite Stamp set along with the Times New Roman Font in 25pt. I used embossing ink and glacier white fine embossing powder on black paper to really get the title to pop. I also touched up the edges with white acrylic paint.
Font Technique: Left Page - I used the Special Occasions Font in 25pt and applied white acrylic paint with a foam brush, then stamped on a photograph. (I also used the Limited Edition "Witch Way to the Treats" stamp set).
Font Technique: Right Page - I lined up Brayton Font in 95pt, and backed each letter with another Brayton letter, put a piece of metal foil over it, then ran it through the Spellbinders Wizard using 2 blue mats and 2 embossing mats. It gives a deep debossing affect and looks really cool!
Font Technique: Left Page - Use the large Horizontal wooden block and stagger 90pt Times New Roman in a diagonal form as shown, then add other words in various fonts and pt sizes. Ink with Clearsnap fluid chalk ink the cat eye's work great for this. That way you can use two different colors of ink.
Pages 5 & 6:
Font Technique: Left Page - Use Brayton Font and stamp the word PUNCH using horizontal wooden stamper. Then spell the word "Vampire" Vertical Wooden Stamper. Don't apply ink to the letter "P". Carefully line up the leter "P" and stamp. Cut out around the stamped words and ink the edges. (Check out the Creepy limited edition stamp set)
Font Technique: Right Page - Use the Damask Borders Deluxe Kit, and the Times New Roman 95pt Font. I used an "S" for the Simoni Monogram.
The back page has a filament string through the center of the monogram side and the back side panel. This way the panel can spin 360 degrees within the frame. You can see the progression in the 3 photo's above.
I hope you've enjoyed the mini album and all the fun JustRite Font Techniques!!
