Biography

I live in a small rural Wyoming town. I have a fabulous husband that supports my late night hours in my art room. My art can be a bit wild, grungy, distressed and at times have a graphic feel to it. I have always enjoyed and had a passion for photography, and can't get by without my Nikon D80. Scrapbooking became a hobby for me when my two little girls were born. It has evolved into an expression of art for me. Photography, scrapbooking, altered items and other forms of mixed media have become a great outlet for my artistic endeavors. I currently teach altered art, altered books, stamping, Photoshop Elements and scrapbook classes in Wyoming. I was a 2006/2007 Spellbinders Design Team Member, am a current 2009 Spellbinders Design Team Member, and have enjoyed being published in scrapbooking and altered art magazines. I also volunteer my time with the "Stars in Heaven". It's a group of parents who have had a child die, and want to make memory albums, journals, ornaments and altered art as a form of therapeutic expression. My favorite quote is "Ordinary women rarely make history."
